Always Wash Your Salad

Washed and ready to eat! That is what the package say. Well, if I was vegan or vegetarian - and if I did not wash the salad - I would be surprised to know I ate a lady bug. Spinach with a side of lady bug. Mmmmm.
Now the little thing is outside in my garden. Alive and kicking! I am just glad it wasn't a spider ....

A Quick Snack
With Stella, we are out and about every day. It is either errands, the park, play dates, Gymboree or Music Class. So, on the run - I always bring snacks for her & myself. I toss a few Kashi Bars in my purse or car, and paired with a venti coffee at Starbucks, I have a power snack! There are few things as tasty as a Kashi Crunchy bar and a smooth coffee!
Sign on to Kashi and get a free sample! No, I was not paid to do this post. I buy my very own bars at Costco. LOVE 'EM!

The Real HouseWife
Pics from http://wallisphoto.blogspot.com/
At the moment, I am a housewife. A real house wife. A stay at home mother. When I fill in paper work at the doctors office, for occupation I put: Home Maker or House Wife.
Just like the girls in the OC, NY, NJ & Atlanta, right?! And soon 90210. Beverly Hills ladies are jumping on the band wagon to showcase their real housewife life. Correct me if I am wrong, but Beverly Hills - compared to the rest of America - is not as real as it gets...... It's real alright, for those ladies - but I bet, their nails are fake!
Just like my life in a northern California 'burb is real for me..... anyhow............
I LOVE THE SHOW! Especially the OC. It is funny, amusing, hilarious & real. So what if the hair is bleached, the teeth are veneers, nails are fake and tans are spray on. It is still real women. Mothers. Wives. Just like you & me.
Watched the reunion part 1 last night, and will for sure DVR the part 2 tonight.
Love my girl Alexis - I can not believe how great she looks after THREE kids. Wow! Now, that is pure determination. Willpower and Strength. No money in the bank will make you look like that - only workout and the food consumed. Ah-mazing! (but I guess 2 nannies does make it easier for some mommy workout time ;)

A Sunday Update!
So, it's been empty here the last week. Thing is, we are looking for a new home as we are renting and our landlord has to sell the house. So.... that means - less time for blogging and more time looking for a home. We want the perfect home, so we visit, and visit and visit.
The course yesterday was amazing. I truly believe I can write a book. I will start as soon as we have a home secured! Until then, ciao, ciao!

Spring Into Spring 2010
My Spring 2010 is whimsical - creative! My new Panama Hat, paired with soon to be Ray Ban Classic glasses, Anthropologie Khaki pants, nautical shirt and Hunter boots. Top it all off with a scarf and tons of accessorize. There are never enough bracelets. Never. A Starbucks coffee and I am ready to write. Next Saturday, I am attending my writing course. I. Can. Not. Wait. Finally, I will spritz my Fresh Sugar Lemon. Love it!
Two Weeks From Today....
Back To Target!!!
For Liberty Of London! Gosh, we will be busy, ladies - running to Target each Sunday! Head on over to target.com and download some pretty patterns! Love the flowery whimsical style!
Sunday March 7th Wake Up Call!!
Ladies, set your alarms for Sunday - a week today! Jean Paul Gaultier hits Target! Just click on the link and see if your Target will be getting the collection. I know I will head on over to my Target, Starbucks in hand - browsing the racks at 8.00am. My dear J has a dentist appointment at 11, but I think three hours should do it....... haha!

Alrighty - Goodnighty!
It is late. SF time. Almost midnight. My carriage will turn in to a pumpkin. Time to Shut. It. Down. Like Rachel Zoe would say. Ta, ta until 2morrow. ROADTRIP!
4.5 Years - Congratulations My Friends!
I have blogged for four and a half years. FOUR & 1/2 yrs. Wow! That is some long time, my friends. FOUR ladies in Sweden, that started around that time, made it big. Like BIG. You all know who I am talking about. Ebba. Engla. Karolina. Eleonore.
It is awesome! While living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I was blogging about hurricane outfits (yes, we had a hurricane, and yes, I dressed appropriately) and my fellow Swedish bloggers made history in Sweden. Quitting day jobs due to successful blogs. Ah-mazing. This post is to them. To (in no particular order) Ebba, Engla, Karolina and Eleonore. Congratulations, from your one of your very first readers!
Yours Truly,
Anna

Right Now 9.43PM
Swedish hockey on TV. A glass of tasty rosé. SmartPop Popcorn. Stella asleep since hours back. She had organic chili made with organic beef and organic veggies for dinner - and she loved it! Tomorrow, I am planning a shopping trip to Santana Row. Never been. Should be AWESOME! H&M has the Sonia Rykiel collection!
Alrighty - Goodnighty!
ps. one of these days I am planning an "every hour" update with pics! Should see how that works out.... haha! With the iPhone it will be easy! I am challenging Lotta, Mia & Amy to do the same. You know you want to!

I have a small fear....
....of driving in to me new "down towns". When I don't know where to go, what lane to be in to turn and have no clue where to park. I scares the *&%¤mph out of me. It started in Stockholm, continued in Ottawa, not really (but almost) an issue in Halifax... I know, silly - very small downtown - today it would be a breeeze. For sure an issue in Montreal. Scary! And now, San Francisco. Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze. Hills and sh*t. Oh, boy! So, what really helps is a few practice rounds with my husband. He drives (I can drive), I just memorize the road and file switchings and parking spots. Then, it is smoooth sailing.
Bring me any 8 lane highway and busy traffic. No problem. However a jam packed downtown in rush hour..... eh, no thanks. So, this is the reason we are skipping play date today, which is downtown SF at a museum. Silly, you might say - perhaps, but it is just the case. Thank God we live in the burbs!
Would you believe that I have a Swedish, Canadian (Nova Scotia, Ontario, Nova Scotia (again!) & Quebec) and US: California license and for a few years I had an international DL. Yep. I can drive. Indeed. And we moved a lot!
Just don't like the grids of downtown.
Now, what are you scared of? Yes - confess!

Eeeeek!
That's the sound of the door to the backyard. It is right outside the office window, and due to all the rain, it won't close - it is made out of wood. So, it swings in the wind. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Scares the sh*t out of me every time. Sounds like a horror movie. Awesome. As my husband is traveling. Just awsome. Almost as awesome as the other night when the cats, racoons and skunks were UFC fighting in the backyard. I was sure I was to find not so faux fur the next day, but I didn't.
